Deep-Tissue Massage
$100/hour
For those who want to feel their massage. If you have high muscular tension and you want a treatment that’s direct and hard. Deep-Tissue goes straight for the deep tissues of the muscles and breaks fascia build-up. The treatment uses oil over bare skin; areas of your body not currently being worked on will be covered by a sheet for warmth. Treatment typically takes place on a massage table.
I may use my knuckles, elbows, & knees as well as my fingers and palms to get deep into the muscle to affect change. I will also use trigger-point therapy to get the muscle to full relax.
Deep-Tissue Massage is geared to treat
*Chronic tension, likely causing pain on a regular basis.
*Athletes and physical performers may wish to have a deep-tissue massage as an aid to the rigorous training that can cause muscle fatigue or tension.
*Anyone with scar tissue, either superficial or deep can greatly benefit from myo-fascial work around the scar tissue.

Cranio-Sacral Therapy
$80/hour
CranioSacral Therapy is a slow, gentle manual therapy that can have profound changes on the body of anyone who’s received a treatment. No oil is used and the client may remain fully clothed throughout.
As a certified CranioSacral Therapist I use my sensitive hands to feel the rhythmic pulse that moves tension from the head to the pelvis and back again and work with the physical structure of the client’s body to create symmetry within the body. A better structure creates better health, bones muscles, organs, circulatory, lymphatic systems and nervous systems.
This slow and supportive therapy has been shown to heal the body more than 3 times faster than many harsher, forced-stretching therapies by allowing the client’s body to take the lead, so healing goes on after the treatment is over.
It has been well documented in treated ailments such as:
*Allergies; *anxiety/ stress; *ADHD; *cerebral palsy; *immune disorders; *insomnia; *PMS; *nerve damage; *chronic pain; *tinnitus; *migraines; *carpal tunnel; *fibromyalgia; & *sciatica.
Additional Treatments Offered:
Lymphatic drainage is a superficial massage treatment that enlivens the skin & drains the lymphatic system. The massage uses quick, superficial strokes that brings circulation and charges the skin. No oil is applied though treatment is applied to bare skin.
Trigger-point therapy pin-points trigger points, i.e. aggravated nodules inside a muscle and breaks apart fascia around the nodule. A trigger-point can cause a muscle to atrophy, by tensing and weakening it. Trigger-point therapy relieves this tension and can allow the muscle to return to normal functioning.
